My name is Houria, and I would describe myself as a warm, caring, cheerful, patient, polite, and responsible person. One of the things I enjoy most in life is spending time with children, playing with them, supporting their development, and watching them discover new things about the world around them.

My experience with children started within my own family. I have helped care for my younger siblings since they were born, which has allowed me to be part of their lives as they have grown through different stages of childhood. Through this experience, I have learned how to understand children’s needs, be patient with them, adapt to their individual personalities, and make them feel loved, safe, and understood.

In addition to my family experience, I have also worked as a paid babysitter for other families since I was 18. Over the years, I have cared for children in different situations, both when their parents were at home and when they were away. These experiences have helped me become more confident, independent, and comfortable taking responsibility for children’s well-being.

I love coming up with fun and creative activities to keep children entertained and engaged. Whether it is playing games, doing arts and crafts, reading stories, inventing little adventures at home, or going outside to explore and enjoy nature, I always try to make our time together enjoyable and meaningful. I believe children should have plenty of opportunities to play, express themselves, learn new things, and feel that someone is genuinely interested in them.

I am a friendly, active, and attentive person who enjoys creating a positive atmosphere around children. I want them to feel comfortable being themselves, knowing they can trust me and that I will treat them with kindness, patience, and respect. I also understand the importance of routines, clear communication, and working together with parents to make sure their children feel happy, secure, and well cared for.

Languages and cultural background are also a big part of who I am. Spanish is my native language, and I also speak Moroccan Darija as a native language. I have C2-level English skills and speak Galician fluently. I am currently at B2 level in German and am very motivated to keep improving until I can speak it confidently and naturally in everyday life.

Being able to communicate in different languages is something I truly value. I would love to share my languages and cultural background with my host family and children in a natural and enjoyable way, while also learning about German traditions, everyday life, and family culture.

Becoming an au pair in Germany is something I am genuinely excited about. For me, it is much more than an opportunity to live abroad. It is a chance to become part of a family’s daily life, contribute to the children’s happiness and development, experience a new culture from the inside, and grow as a person. I would love to share my own culture, learn from yours, and create wonderful memories together.

I hope to find a host family with whom I can build a close relationship based on trust, mutual respect, kindness, and open communication. I want to be someone you can feel comfortable relying on, someone who brings positive energy into your home and genuinely cares about making your family’s daily life a little easier and happier.
