Dear Host Family,
My name is Fanny, and I am very happy to write to you as I wait for the opportunity to become a part of your family. I am 20 years old and come from a warm and loving family with both of my parents, one brother, and five sisters. Growing up in such a big family has taught me the true meaning of care, responsibility, patience, and joy—especially when it comes to being around children.
I speak Kinyarwanda, English, and a little German. Learning languages has helped me connect with different people and cultures, and I am very excited to improve my German while also sharing my own culture with you.
Caring for children is not just something I do—it is something I truly love. I have gained experience through taking care of my younger siblings and also through my professional childcare activities. I understand how to create a safe, happy, and supportive environment for children. I enjoy helping them learn, playing creative games, assisting with homework, and encouraging their curiosity and confidence. I am patient, responsible, and attentive to each child’s needs.
As an au pair, I hope to become not only someone who helps with daily routines, but also a big sister figure to your children—someone they can trust, laugh with, and learn from. I am excited to share my culture, cook simple meals, and be part of your family life while also learning from you.
