# About Me

Hello! My name is Nancy, I am 22 years old and I come from Kenya. I am a caring, patient, responsible and open-minded person who genuinely enjoys spending time with children. I am currently looking for a loving host family in Germany with whom I can share a meaningful Au Pair experience and become part of their everyday family life.

I have **more than 4 years of experience caring for my nieces**, which has taught me a lot about patience, responsibility and understanding children’s individual needs. I enjoy playing with children, reading with them, going for walks, helping with their daily routines and creating a fun and safe environment for them. I am also happy to help with light household tasks related to the children and everyday family life.

I am interested in the Au Pair program because I would love to experience German culture and family life while improving my German language skills. For me, being an Au Pair is not only about childcare, but also about cultural exchange. I would be happy to share my Kenyan culture, traditions, food and experiences with my host family while learning about their culture and way of life.

In my free time, I enjoy swimming, skating, horse riding, reading books and taking walks in nature. I also enjoy discovering new places, meeting new people and trying new things.

I would describe myself as caring, dependable, adaptable and willing to learn. I understand that every family has its own routines and expectations, and I am happy to communicate openly and adapt to them. I believe that good communication, mutual respect and trust are very important for a positive Au Pair experience.

I have already completed my Au Pair visa interview at the German Embassy in Nairobi. Unfortunately, my previous host family recently withdrew from our agreement because of the visa timeline. I am therefore urgently looking for a new host family and am ready to continue with the process.

I am hoping to find a family who is welcoming, respectful and willing to communicate openly with me. I would love to build a genuine relationship with my host family and become someone they can trust and rely on when caring for their children.
