Hello Host Family, My name is Marcella, and I’m a 20-year-old from Indonesia (will be turning 21 yo in February 2025). I’m currently a fifth-semester Communication Science student, pursuing my degree entirely online, that’s why I could travel.

I have a deep love for children and some experience caring for them. I’ve lived with different families here in Indonesia, all of whom have had at least two children, ranging in age from infants to 12 years old. Currently, I am also working toward completing an online babysitting course at the Nursing Training Centre of Universitas Indonesia with the purpose I could be able to take care of your kids more professional.

I’m a friendly and easygoing person who loves to laugh and find joy in the little things. My hobbies are playing badminton, air riffle, walking, and bicycling.

Speaking of my family, I come from a small, tight-knit family where we’ve always valued warmth, support, and a good sense of humor. Growing up with my grandmother, who is a midwife and runs a baby daycare, I was constantly surrounded by kids. This has made me a natural when it comes to understanding their needs, keeping them entertained, and making them feel comfortable. My friends often say I have a positive and adventurous spirit. I love trying new things, whether it’s learning a new language, exploring a new city, or finding new ways to make kids giggle. I believe life should be a mix of curiosity and kindness, and I bring that energy wherever I go!
