Hello dear host family,

My name is Lerato, and I am a caring, responsible, and experienced au pair with a strong passion for working with children and supporting families in their daily lives. I come from South Africa.
I have previously au paired in the United States, where I worked with two autistic children, which taught me patience, flexibility, and how to respond to individual needs with empathy and care. In the Netherlands, I worked as an au pair for a single father, where I handled daily routines independently and supported the household responsibly. In addition, I worked as a teacher assistant in South Africa for one year and also have experience as a babysitter. These roles have helped me develop strong childcare skills, responsibility, and confidence when working with children of different ages and needs.

I want to continue my au pair journey because I truly enjoy being part of a family, helping children grow, and learning from different cultures. Being an au pair allows me to combine my love for childcare with cultural exchange, personal growth, and learning new ways of life.
