Dear Future Host Family,

Firstly ,my name is Jaine and I am a girl aged 24 years old. I come from the busy city of Harare, located in Zimbabwe but currently an au pair in the Netherlands with few months left on my visa .I am looking for new host family which can welcome me as their au pair in their family .

The main part of my personality is to be social and I have a natural need to provide care to children. I am a creative and ambitious young woman because I have plenty of ideas for my future. I consider myself to be fun, reliable, patient, independent and understanding individual. I am a Red Cross certificate holder and have worked for local clinics as a nurse’s assistant which means that I can use my passion and energy to help people .I have experience in taking care of children from 0-14years old as currently my host kids are 6 and 4years old .

I want to take care of children and live with another host family in a different country because I am looking forward to gaining a better understanding of a new culture outside of my own home country and personal bubble. I cannot wait to learn more about the culture and history. I believe that I have so many positive skills relating to childcare to offer a family and know that I can work towards gaining trust and a deep connection with them. I am an open minded person with a desire to experience cultural exchange and learn other languages. I like taking care of children as they are like a fountain of joy to me. They make my day brighter and more cheerful! I can not get enough of children’s ability to show truthfulness and innocence. I feel satisfied being able to act as an older sister and role model for the kids in my care and hope to be more than an Au pair to them.I would be very much excited to teach my host family about other cultures despite mine as I can now bring up to three cultures which is Zimbabwean ,South African and Dutch culture.

I am looking for a lovely host family who is interested in creating a beautiful bond with me and helping me feel like a member of their family. I would hope to enjoy fun activities together but also have independence and explore in my free time. Open communication and honesty are super important to me and I hope that my host family would share these same values.
