Dear host family, I hope you are all doing well.

I’m Tracy a 26yr old Cameroonian. I hold a graduate diploma in Biomedical Sciences and have completed 15 years of education with English as the medium of instruction. I am fluent in both English and French at a C1 advanced level, and I am passionate about languages, with the dream of becoming a polyglot and opening my own language center.

As the firstborn in my family, I naturally take on a caring and responsible role. I genuinely love children and I have a junior brother too so I would treat your children like my own younger siblings, providing attentive, kind, and dependable care. It would feel routine and normal to me taking them to and from school, engaging their little creative minds in fun activities such as drawing, coloring, and origami. We’ll also read fun stories and role-play what we read, storytelling and why not invent our own stories ? We’ll play lots of simple educational games that are both fun and engaging. I have a natural interest in fun outdoor activities and I’m convinced we’ll get along well.

I have experience taking care of a newborn and a toddler and assisting in their development and daily routines. I also have experience taking care of older children (family and relatives) and currently I’m an English-French tutor (freelance)

Academically, I have consistently ranked among the top three students throughout my schooling and completed my diploma with strong results. I would also be delighted to support their learning and intellectual development with patience and encouragement.

Becoming an au pair with your family would allow me to fully immerse myself in a new cultural environment, learn a new language and discover a new country and it’s culture.

I would also be happy to share additional skills with your children, including:
– French – English language learning
– Creative activities such as crochet, beading and braiding.
– Fun DIY crafts inspired by Pinterest

I do not drink or smoke, and I am open-minded, flexible, and willing to assist with light household chores such as tidying , cooking easy meals and helping with the kids’ laundry amongst others just as a family member would while also sharing my culture with you.
