Dear Host Family,
My name is Aisyah, and I am an 18-year-old from Indonesia. I will turn 19 this year (2025). I am the eldest sister of three siblings, and this role has given me experience in caring for children. I have caring my younger sisters in various ways, such as waking them up, helping with their schoolwork, preparing dinner or meals when my mom is busy, and even organizing fun activities to brighten their day.
This will be my first time working as an au pair, but I bring valuable experience in childcare and household work. Being the eldest sibling has made me adept at light household chores such as tidying up, organizing, and maintaining cleanliness—skills I enjoy using to create a comfortable environment. I am naturally organized and structured, which helps me manage tasks efficiently.
As for my personality, I am a calm yet caring, easy-going, and energetic person. While I usually carry a calm demeanor, I have a bright and cheerful side that comes out when I spend time with children. I enjoy making them laugh, engaging them in fun and educational activities, and encouraging them to explore their creativity.
In my free time, I love reading and writing. Books allow me to gain new perspectives, while writing helps me express my feelings. I also enjoy cooking and experimenting with recipes from Indonesia and other countries, which I see as a creative outlet. Sports are another passion of mine—I have been practicing Taekwondo since I was 7, and I also enjoy swimming, archery, baseball, and following Formula 1 racing.
Becoming an au pair is a meaningful opportunity for me to immerse myself in a new culture, and learn from the unique perspectives of your children. I hope to create lasting memories, share my enthusiasm for life, and contribute to your family in the best way possible. Thank you for considering me as your au pair. I look forward to the chance to meet you and become part of your family.
Your possible future au pair,
Aisyah
