My name is Mariam, and I am applying for the opportunity to participate in the Au Pair program in Germany. I am truly excited about the prospect of living in Germany, immersing myself in the language and culture, and becoming a part of a family’s daily life.

I hold a degree in Social Work and later pursued a Master’s in Public Policy Research. I have worked with displaced families and children from Artsakh and served as a camp leader for children. One of the most meaningful experiences for me has been taking care of my brother’s three children, which reflects one of the unique aspects of Armenian culture.

I am passionate about understanding children and spending time with them, as it is a way for me to learn more about myself. During my university years and beyond, I studied the psychological aspects of personality development, which has become one of my strengths, allowing me to easily connect with people, especially children.

One of my main goals during my time in Germany is to improve my German language skills. I am currently studying at the A1 level and am highly motivated to develop my abilities further.

Beyond mastering the German language, I am eager to gain a deeper understanding of German culture by experiencing it firsthand. I am confident that the Au Pair program will not only help me grow as a person but also enrich my professional experience in social and linguistic fields. As a sociologist, it is essential for me to engage with diverse cultures and societies from within.

I approach all my tasks and responsibilities with dedication and care. Given my previous experiences, I am confident that I can provide thoughtful and effective support to a family’s daily life.
